This store and website are operated by Aurorae Hongkong Limited, registered at Flat/RM A, 12/F, ZJ 300, 300 Lockhart Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong, trading as Aurorae. Throughout these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean that company. Our operations and fulfilment team is based at Room 401, Building F, Bantian International Center, No. 5 Huancheng South Road, Ma’antang Community, Bantian Subdistrict, Longgang District, Shenzhen, Guangdong 518129, China.

These Terms of Service, together with the policies linked below, describe your rights and responsibilities when you use our website and buy from us. Please read them — they include a warranty disclaimer and a limitation of liability.

By visiting the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site.

Our store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the platform that lets us sell to you.

1. Access and Accounts

By agreeing to these Terms you confirm that you are at least the age of majority where you live, and that if a minor in your care uses the site, you have consented to it.

To buy from us you may be asked for your email address, billing details, payment information, and a shipping address. You agree that the information you give us is correct, current, and complete, and that you have the right to provide it.

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on the account. You may not transfer, sell, or assign your account to anyone else.

You may not use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that breaks the law where you are. You must not send us malicious code of any kind.

2. Our Products

We photograph and describe our fixtures as accurately as we can. Colour and appearance can still differ from what you see, because screens, devices, and display settings vary. We cannot warrant that a product will look on your screen exactly as it does in your room.

Our fixtures are made in hand-blown glass, K9 optical crystal, solid wood, natural marble, and metalwork. Hand-blown glass carries natural variation between pieces — that is a property of the material, and it is described on the product pages.

Product descriptions and specifications may change without notice. We may discontinue a product at any time, and we may limit the quantity we sell to any one person, region, or jurisdiction.

3. Orders

When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. We may accept or decline it at our discretion. Your order is accepted when we confirm it, and we must have received your payment before that happens.

Please check your order before submitting it. Cancellation is possible before dispatch — the conditions are set out in our Shipping Policy. If we decline, change, or cancel an order, we will contact you using the email address or phone number you gave us.

Returns and exchanges are governed by our Refund & Return Policy.

Trade, project, and volume orders. We sell to interior designers, architects, contractors, and hospitality buyers through our Trade Program. Orders of six or more of the same fixture, and orders priced by written quotation or trade account pricing, follow the separate terms set out in our Trade, Project & Volume Orders section.

4. Prices and Payment

Prices, discounts, and promotions may change without notice. The price that applies to your order is the price shown when you place it, and it is confirmed in your order confirmation email.

Standard shipping is included in the price for the destinations we serve, and orders ship Delivered Duty Paid — import duties and taxes are prepaid by us. Full details are in our Shipping Policy. Where sales tax is required by law, it is calculated and displayed at checkout before you pay.

Promotions may carry their own terms. Where a promotion's terms conflict with these Terms, the promotion's terms apply to that promotion.

You confirm that the payment details you provide are correct, that you are authorised to use the payment method, and that you will pay the amount shown at checkout. Please keep your account and payment details up to date so that we can complete your order and reach you if we need to.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery times given on the site are estimates. We cannot guarantee them, and we are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs processing, weather, or other events outside our control.

Every order includes shipping insurance at no cost to you. If your package is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit, we replace or refund it under the terms of our Shipping Policy. Title to the goods passes to you on delivery.

6. Intellectual Property

The site and its contents — including product photography, illustrations, written descriptions, guides, page design, and the arrangement of all of it — are owned by Aurorae or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, or transmit any of our material without our written consent. Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to any patent, trademark, or copyright of ours, of Shopify, or of any third party.

"Aurorae" and our logos, product names, and designs are our trademarks. Shopify's name, logo, and product names are Shopify's trademarks. All other names and marks on the site belong to their respective owners.

Design professionals are welcome to use our product photography and specification sheets in client presentations and submittal packages. Email trade@auroraeshop.com and we will supply the files.

7. Third-Party Tools and Links

The site includes tools and content provided by third parties, which we do not control. We provide access to them as they are, without warranty of any kind, and we are not liable for your use of them. Please read the provider's own terms before you rely on such a tool.

The site also links to pages we do not run — carrier tracking pages, Shopify's own policies, and our social accounts among them. We are not responsible for the content or accuracy of those sites, and a link is not an endorsement. If you buy something on a third-party site, that transaction is between you and them.

8. Our Relationship with Shopify

Aurorae is powered by Shopify, which provides the platform behind the Services. Any sale or purchase you make in our store is made directly with Aurorae. You acknowledge that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of a sale between you and us, including any injury, damage, or loss arising from the products or services you buy. You release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from your purchases and transactions with Aurorae.

9. Privacy

Personal information we collect through the site is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Because the site is hosted by Shopify, some personal information is also processed by Shopify under the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy. Both are worth reading.

10. Reviews, Feedback, and Submissions

If you send us reviews, ideas, suggestions, photographs, or other content, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display it, including for commercial purposes.

You confirm that you own or have the rights to what you send, that you have disclosed any payment or incentive you received in connection with it, and that it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights. Your submission must not be unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or obscene, and must not contain malicious code. You may not use a false email address or pretend to be someone else.

We are not obliged to keep your submission confidential, to pay for it, or to respond to it. We may remove content that we consider unlawful, offensive, or in breach of these Terms, but we are not obliged to monitor it. You are responsible for what you submit and for its accuracy.

11. Errors and Corrections

Occasionally the site may contain a typographical error, an inaccuracy, or an omission — in a product description, a price, a promotion, a shipping charge, a transit time, or availability. We may correct errors and update information at any time without notice, including after you have placed an order, and we may cancel an order affected by such an error. If we do, we will contact you and refund you in full.

12. Prohibited Uses

You may use the site for lawful purposes only. You may not use it:

• To infringe our intellectual property rights or anyone else's
• To harass, abuse, defame, intimidate, or discriminate against anyone, including our staff

• To scrape the site, or to use robots, spiders, or automated extraction tools against it
• To interfere with or circumvent the security features of the site, or robot exclusion headers

We may suspend or terminate your access if we determine that you have breached any part of these Terms.

13. Automated Agents

This section applies if you use or deploy an automated agent to access the site. An "agent" means software that acts on your behalf, autonomously or semi-autonomously, without direct supervision.

An agent may access the site only if it identifies itself in every request by including Agent/[agent name] in its user agent string. An agent must not conceal that it is automated — it must not mimic human interaction patterns, must not complete or circumvent CAPTCHAs, and must answer truthfully if asked whether it is a person or a program. These Terms apply until terminated by you or by us. You may end them by ceasing to use the site. We may end them, or restrict your access, at our discretion and without notice if we believe you have breached them. You remain liable for any amounts owed up to the date of termination.

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED BY AURORAE, THE SITE AND ALL PRODUCTS OFFERED THROUGH IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT REPRESENTATION, WARRANTY, OR CONDITION OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, MERCHANTABLE QUALITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, DURABILITY, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT YOUR USE OF THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE DISCLAIMERS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Nothing in this section limits the 4-Year Limited Warranty we give on our fixtures, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

16. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AURORAE, OUR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS AND LICENSORS — AND THOSE OF SHOPIFY — SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS, CLAIM, OR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST SAVINGS, LOSS OF DATA, OR REPLACEMENT COSTS, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY PRODUCT BOUGHT THROUGH IT, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. WHERE A JURISDICTION DOES NOT ALLOW SUCH EXCLUSIONS, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aurorae, Shopify, and our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, and service providers against any loss, damage, liability, or claim, including reasonable legal fees, payable to a third party and arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or your use of the site.

We will notify you of any such claim. We may control the defence and settlement at your expense, including choice of counsel, but we will not settle a claim that imposes a non-monetary obligation on you without your consent, which you will not unreasonably withhold. You agree to cooperate in the defence, including by providing relevant documents.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unlawful, void, or unenforceable, it will still be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law. The unenforceable part is severed, and the rest of these Terms remain valid and enforceable.

19. Waiver and Entire Agreement

If we do not exercise or enforce a right under these Terms, that is not a waiver of it.

These Terms, together with the policies listed at the top of this page, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the site, and they supersede any earlier agreement or communication, including any previous version of these Terms. Any ambiguity will not be construed against either party as the drafter.

20. Assignment

You may not transfer or assign these Terms, or any right or obligation under them, without our written consent. We may transfer or assign them without your consent, for example if the business is sold or restructured.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and you and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law gives you that right.

22. Changes to These Terms

You can read the current version of these Terms on this page at any time. We may update them, and material changes will be notified as the law requires and take effect on the date given in the notice. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
