Description

The Asymmetrical LED Chandelier hangs thick aluminum light rings at staggered heights on near-invisible wires, drifting deliberately off-center so the cascade feels alive rather than arranged. Choose 10, 20, 35 or 50 rings with a circle or square canopy, in black or gold — in black the rings all but vanish, leaving clean circles of light stacked in the stairwell; in gold they keep a warm metallic presence even unlit. Every ring's integrated 3000K LED module arrives pre-installed and rated for roughly 50,000 hours — connect the canopy and all rings light at once, with adjustable wires for standard to double-height ceilings.

Not dimmable — the fixed-output driver must not be wired to a wall dimmer; for adjustable ambiance, layer the room with dimmable secondary lighting.

Q: What is the difference between Pattern 10 and Pattern 50? A: Pattern 10 has 10 individual LED rings and is suited for standard-height rooms (9–12 ft) as a compact statement piece. Pattern 50 has 50 LED rings spread across a much larger vertical span, designed for tall stairwells and grand foyers (16+ ft ceilings). The visual density and light output increase with each step up. If you are unsure, Pattern 20 is the most versatile middle-ground for 12–14 ft spaces.
Q: Should I choose the circle or square canopy? A: The canopy shape is purely aesthetic and does not affect the ring arrangement below. Choose circle for softer architectural environments and curved design elements. Choose square for angular, geometric, or industrial interiors. Both mount to standard junction boxes.
Q: This fixture is not dimmable — is that a problem? A: The integrated LEDs run at a fixed 3000K warm white, which is the right color temperature for ambient staircase and living-room lighting, and the output is calibrated to be comfortable rather than harsh — 5W per ring at 85 lm/W. Because the driver is fixed-output, this fixture must not be wired to a wall dimmer: doing so can cause flicker, buzzing, or driver failure, and that damage is not covered by the warranty. If you need variable brightness in this room, choose one of our dimmable designs instead — dimmable models list "Dimmable: Yes" in their specifications.
Q: The black finish vs gold — which works better in a stairwell? A: Black works best when you want the rings themselves to be invisible and only the circles of light to be visible — dramatic and minimal, especially against dark or neutral walls. Gold works when you want the fixture to be a visible architectural element even during the day when the lights are off — the metallic warmth of the aluminum catches ambient light and acts as sculptural decor.
Q: How is this different from a standard LED ring chandelier? A: Standard LED ring chandeliers (like our Modern Circular Ring Chandelier) use concentric rings centered on a single axis — symmetrical and balanced. This fixture deliberately breaks that symmetry. Each ring hangs at a different height and offset from center, creating visual tension and movement. It is an architectural statement, not a conventional light fixture.
Q: My staircase has a 22-foot ceiling — can the wires extend that far? A: The hanging wires are adjustable and can accommodate tall ceilings. For ceilings above 18 feet, contact us to confirm available wire length for your specific configuration. Custom wire extensions are available on request.
