Description

The Wooden Lotus Pendant opens carved wood petals like a flower frozen mid-bloom, a 4W LED module sealed behind an acrylic diffuser so the 3000K light filters evenly and makes everything underneath look inviting — the bread, the cutting board, the faces around the table. The wood is genuinely carved, not plastic or MDF, so each piece has its own grain. Choose 1 head (6.3" canopy, 12" spread) or 5 heads (11.8" canopy, 24–30" spread), in Light Natural or Dark Stained wood.

Not dimmable — the sealed module holds a consistent warm output, rated for roughly 50,000 hours. The 39.4-inch cord is not adjustable, and with the 1.5-inch shade the fixture drops about 41 inches: a 9 ft ceiling puts the shade about 31 inches above a kitchen island, and over a dining table it suits a ceiling of about 8.5 ft. On an 8 ft ceiling it hangs too low over a table or island, and above 9 ft too high — please measure before ordering. Both are hardwired to a standard junction box, hardware included.

Light Wood or Dark

In Light Natural wood the fixture almost disappears against a white or neutral ceiling — present but quiet, letting the grain do the talking. In Dark Stained wood it announces itself with more contrast and weight, anchoring the space above a concrete countertop or a dark-stained island. There are no bulbs to buy and none to replace.

Where It Fits

Round table or small island (1 head): center it over a 4-person table, or pair two units spaced 30 inches apart over a 6-foot kitchen island for even coverage.

Long table or large island (5 heads): the cluster spreads overlapping pools of light across the full surface, eliminating the dark edges a single fixture leaves behind — suited to an 8–10 person dining table.

Breakfast nook, coffee bar or restaurant counter: the fixed cord and 1.5-inch shade drop about 41 inches, so a 9 ft ceiling puts the shade about 31 inches above a 36-inch counter; over a 30-inch nook table, a ceiling of about 8.5 ft gives the same clearance.

Q: Is the wood real or is it a printed/laminated finish? A: The wood is real natural wood — not laminate, veneer, or plastic. Each shade is carved and finished by hand, so slight variations in grain pattern and color tone are normal. These are signs of genuine craftsmanship, not defects.
Q: Can I use the single-head version over a kitchen island? A: Yes, but for islands longer than 4 feet, we recommend purchasing two single-head units and spacing them 24–30 inches apart. This eliminates the dark spots at the ends of the island that a single centered fixture would leave. Alternatively, the 5-head cluster version is designed for longer surfaces.
Q: The cord is not adjustable — will it work with my ceiling height? A: The cord is 100cm (39.4") from canopy to shade, and the shade itself is about 1.5" (4cm) tall, so the fixture drops roughly 41 inches from the ceiling. Over a standard 36-inch kitchen island, a 9-foot ceiling puts the bottom of the shade about 31 inches above the counter — within the recommended 28–34 inches. Over a standard 30-inch dining table, the ideal ceiling is about 8.5 feet (shade about 31 inches above the table); on a 9-foot ceiling it sits about 37 inches above the table, slightly higher than the usual 30–36 inches. On an 8-foot ceiling it would hang only about 25 inches above a table, which is too low, and above 9 feet it hangs too high over either surface. Please measure your ceiling-to-surface distance before ordering.
Q: How does the light wood vs dark wood look in person? A: The light wood has a warm, honey-blonde tone that blends with white, cream, and light oak interiors — popular in Scandinavian and Japandi-style kitchens. The dark wood has a rich walnut-like tone that creates more visual contrast, pairing well with darker countertops, industrial kitchens, and mid-century modern spaces.
Q: Is the LED replaceable if it burns out? A: The LED module is integrated (not a screw-in bulb). It is rated for approximately 50,000 hours of use. If it fails within the 4-year warranty period, we ship a complete replacement unit free of charge. Based on typical kitchen usage of 3–5 hours per day, the LED should last 27–45 years.
Q: Is this fixture suitable for outdoor covered patios? A: No. This fixture is rated for dry indoor locations only. The natural wood can warp or crack with humidity exposure. For covered outdoor use, look for fixtures with a Damp or Wet rating.
