Description

Each shade on the Sculptural Crystal Cascade is K9 crystal blown into a faceted, irregular form — not a smooth orb but something between a gemstone fragment and a shard of melting ice. The LED is sealed inside each crystal rather than lit from above, so the crystal becomes the source: light refracts and scatters along the geometry the facets dictate, washing nearby walls in prismatic colour that shifts as you move. Choose 6, 9, 12, 20 or 28 lights in a Random scatter or Spiral helix — ten configurations. Every 3W LED (3000K, CRI 90) is dimmable through a built-in triac driver.

Dimmed to 30%, the fixture softens into a warm amber constellation. Configurations above 25 lbs need reinforced ceiling support, and the 28-light (56.2 lbs, 196 inches) must be joist-mounted; the 20- and 28-light also need scaffolding, 1–2.5 hours.

Two Patterns, Two Moods

Spiral arranges the crystals in a descending helix — structured, rhythmic, and dramatic in a stairwell where it echoes the curve of the stairs. Random staggers them at varied heights with no repeating pattern — organic and unpredictable, better suited to a foyer or dining room where formality gives way to character. The black canopy with gold-toned crystal hardware bridges dark and warm metallic palettes, working with cool modern and warm transitional interiors alike.

Where It Fits

Dining room (6 or 9 lights): the 6-light (78.7") needs 12 ft+ for dining, the 9-light (108") 14 ft+ — a compact crystal cascade centred over the table. Random for casual rooms, Spiral for formal ones.

Foyer or entryway (12 or 20 lights): the 12-light at 118 inches fills a standard two-story foyer; the 20-light at 157 inches makes a dramatic impression in a larger entry.

Staircase or atrium (20 or 28 lights): the 28-light at 196 inches is built for grand stairwells and commercial atriums — Spiral for staircases, Random for rectangular open spaces.

If an LED fails within the 4-year warranty period, we ship a complete replacement crystal-with-LED unit free of charge. The integrated design means you get a uniform glow from within the crystal — an effect that screw-in bulbs behind external reflectors cannot achieve.
Q: How does K9 crystal compare to standard glass for light refraction? A: K9 crystal has a significantly higher refractive index than standard glass, meaning it breaks light into more vivid prismatic colors. The faceted, irregular shape of these crystals amplifies this — you get complex rainbow micro-reflections on adjacent surfaces that smooth glass orbs cannot produce. Over a 30-inch dining table, the lowest crystal sits approximately 33 inches above the table — within the ideal 30–36 inch range. For more visual density, the 9-light version can work with cables shortened to reduce the 108-inch default height.
Q: Can I switch from Random to Spiral after installation? A: The pattern is determined by cable lengths and mounting positions set during installation. Converting from Random to Spiral (or vice versa) requires re-adjusting every cable at height — a significant effort. We recommend deciding on your pattern before ordering and discussing it with your electrician.
